The 6 person salt water hot tub is available year round to our guests here. It is professionally cleaned and maintained before each guest stay!

Massive primary suite with king bed, dedicated office space, private door to back deck, and beautiful sliding barndoor to the primary ensuite bathroom. There are an additional 2 rollaway twin beds (best for small adult or child) stored in the closet.

Welcome to our sweet historic bungalow just steps from everything FUN in Bend! This home sits on a quiet street and neighbors are friendly. Kick back and enjoy a beverage on the adirondak chairs!
The main living room offers comfortable seating, a remote-controlled gas fireplace, brochures for things to do around Bend, and a large flat screen smart TV with cable and access to login to any apps you have.
The front bedroom has a queen bed with new memory foam mattress by Tuft and Needle, a bookcase with books and games, and a closet that houses and extra rollaway twin bed for an extra guest (small adult or child)
We added a second full bathroom in 2023 that has high-end, period-specific touches. We offer towels, soaps, and paper goods.
New 6 person salt water hot tub added in 2024 and is professionally cleaned between guests. It overlooks the lush and private backyard.

Who We Are

Your Hosts

Hey There! I'm Meg and I've been blissfully hosting guests in our homes for over 14 years! My family and I live in the most beautiful (and not so secret) town of Bend, Oregon. It is truly an outdoor lover's paradise and a safe place to raise our family. Between the warm community of people, the stunning nature at our backdoor, and the impressive number of events around town, it's no surprise that Bend has become a prime vacation destination.

 

Sojourn Homes was founded on the premise of kindness and compassion: to treat others how we want to be treated, and to HOST others how we would want to be hosted! We refuse to compromise on quality as you'll see in our guest reviews. We've been fortunate enough to host the most wonderful people from all different backgrounds and share our small slice of paradise with them. We have now opened up our business to manage for other STR owners and hope to preserve what makes Bend special. Thank you for supporting local business!

Are you properties pet-friendly?
Our city loves dogs! And most of our properties are dog-friendly. Please check the listing details to confirm. Dog-friendly properties allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs per reservation with a pet fee. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s), any dog-related damage, and agree to not leave their dog(s) incessantly barking. No cats allowed. *Service animals welcome, no fee applies
What is your cancellation policy?
For stays under 30 days: You may receive a 100% refund if you cancel your stay 14 or more days prior to your check in date. If you cancel 7-13 days prior to your check in date, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations less than 7 days before check in receives no refund. No refunds outside of our cancellation policy will be honored, even for adverse weather or fire-season related reasons. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to protect your investment.
I'm bringing an infant. Do you offer any baby gear for my stay?
Yes! As parents ourselves, we know how much STUFF is needed when traveling with a baby. For that reason, we offer the following to be set up in the home for you, free of charge: Pack n' play with flat sheet, highchair, baby monitor, sound machine/night light. Please note that these must be requested in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Are events allowed in your homes?
Typically, no. Most of our homes are in close-knit neighborhoods where loud music and noise is not welcomed. There may be exceptions (with advanced approval) if you are hosting a dinner or small gathering with guests outside of your reservation count. Just please communicate with us so we know what to expect that is outside of the norm! All Guests staying in Bend are required by the city to follow Good Neighbor Guidelines: 1. 24-Hour Contact Information. If at any time you have concerns about your stay or in regards to your neighbors, please call the 24-hour contact number listed in the rental lease agreement or posted in the unit. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. 2. General Respect for Neighbors. Be friendly, courteous, and treat your neighbors like you want to be treated. Respect your neighbors and their property. 3. Noise. Be considerate of the neighborhood and your neighbor’s right to the quiet enjoyment of their home and property, especially after 10 p.m. 4. Maintenance of Property. Be sure to pick up after yourself and keep the property clean, presentable and free of trash. 5. Garbage Disposal. Place trash and recycling containers at the appropriate place and time for pickup. Return trash and recycling containers to the designated location within 12 hours after pickup. Cigarette butts should be properly extinguished and disposed of in the garbage. 6. Parking & Traffic Safety. Refer to the parking diagram posted in the unit and park on-site whenever possible. Do not park on lawns or in a manner which blocks driveways, sidewalks, alleys or mailboxes. Drive slowly through neighborhoods and watch for pedestrians and children playing. 7. Pets. Promptly clean-up after your pets. Prevent excessive and prolonged barking, and keep pets from roaming the neighborhood. Control aggressive pets, and be sure to abide by the local leash laws. Store pet food indoors and in a secure container to reduce the likelihood of unwanted pest problems. 8. Tenant/Guest Responsibility. Approved guests and visitors are expected to follow the Good Neighbor Guidelines. Be sure to read your rental agreement for additional terms and restrictions which may include consequences for violating the Good Neighbor Guidelines.

We had a wonderful time spending Christmas in Bend with our family. Tall Pine Tuckaway is a beautiful home and was thoughtfully decorated with a Christmas tree for our stay, which made it feel extra special. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the basic supplies we needed. We especially loved the electric fireplace, electric fire pit, hot tub, and the ping pong table in the garage—great amenities for families. The location is ideal, with easy access to Bend and Mt. Bachelor. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with family.

We loved our stay at Meg’s. Our family from different states celebrated Christmas in Bend. The main home is beautiful and the extra house was perfect for one of the families. We all enjoyed soaking outside in the hot tub. Some of us drove to Mount Bachelor to ski which was awesome. Some of us went sledding. We enjoyed some great dining in the area. Meg was very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this airbnb and would stay here again.

We have really enjoyed our stay at the house. It has been very nicely renovated inside - the kitchen and the bedrooms are great. It keeps warm during the cold nights, so that was really nice. The best thing was how central it is to everything in Bend. Walkable to all places in downtown, a block away from a fantastic supermarket, and a quick ride to the mountain. Lastly, the hot tub was a highlight for the family. We loved our stay in Bend.
