The Details

A Bit More About This Property

The home welcomes you with a spacious open-concept layout. The living room, dining room, and kitchen all open to easily create a feeling of living large and plenty of space to entertain. The living room has a smart TV with streaming apps and cable channels. The dining table fits 6 and is open to the fully-stocked kitchen. Off of the livingroom, there are two bedrooms each with a queen bed, desk and office chair, and closet space. In each closet, you'll find a roll away twin bed to move where you wish to accommodate that 5th or 6th person (best for small adults or children; when you book, let us know if you'd like housekeeping to set up the rollaway beds for you). In between these bedrooms is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. We provide fresh linens and soaps for our guests along with a hair dryer.

There is a laundry room off of the kitchen and back door that leads to a salt-water hot tub that is professionally sanitized before each stay. There is also a patio with an outdoor dining set, and access to two free off-street parking spaces off of the back alley.

This home has been completely renovated in the past couple of years - new drywall, plumbing, electrical, floors, kitchen and appliances. You'd never guess it was built in 1925! But the charm still remains.

 

Guests access: Guests are able to access the entire home and outdoor areas: front, side, and backyards. Guests have full access the in the inside of the home except for a small locked housekeeping storage closet in the hallway. The garage is for homeowner use only at this time.

 

Guest Parking: Guests may park in the 2 uncovered off street parking spaces off of the alley or parallel in front of the garage. There are also 1-2 parking spots in the front of the home that are on-street parking but subject to availability.

 

Neighborhood: Flat, walkable streets close to everything in Bend - eateries, shops, parks, and just steps from the Deschutes River!

Meg's place was great! We booked super last minute - Meg was incredibly responsive, and not only arranged the cleaners, but offered an early check-in! The house is easy to find with safe, dedicated parking on the dirt road at the back of the house. The house was pristine- inside and out- and cozy! The neighborhood is so quiet and relaxing, but only a 3-5 minute walk from cafes, breweries, & the river!! The backyard is just a gem. The table is a great place for a morning coffee, sip of wine, or just to sit and listen to the birds. For any dog owners, there is 6' privacy fence on 3 sides and ~4' at the back. The afternoon soak in the hot tub was perfect. Meg provides plenty of towels for your pre-tub shower and post-tub dry off. It comfortably fit 3 adults and could have fit more. The beds were great medium-firm with a topper. Over 6' shower with great pressure and hot water. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked well stocked. Easy, simple check-out. We hope to come back!

Loads of other desirable neighborhoods all about a 12-15 minute easy walk, mostly along the water! Parking was easy and the house was well stocked with just about everything we needed. Truly can't beat the location: walking distance to downtown, a park with a playground less than a quarter mile away (fabulous for our toddler!), and great coffee shops/breweries/restaurants down the road. This place was perfect. Everything is beautifully placed, simple and just all around class. We enjoy Bend a lot from Boise as our stop off between the coast. This was our last stay after a long week visiting the coast and other areas. So peaceful, perfect lay over before heading home. Very comfortable and rad location. Therapeutic.

Awesome place, walkable to everything or <5min drive. Hot tub and interior were all great as well. Meg helped set up a pack n play and high chair before we arrived to accommodate our daughter, and there was a mat for food and water for our dog. Awesome place for dogs and kids and anyone visiting bend in general. We will stay here again if we visit in the future.

You really cannot beat the location of Meg's place - so convenient to many great spots on Galveston Street and Columbia park. We were grateful that Meg had a pack n' play and baby monitor so we didn't have as much to bring with us, which is a huge help when traveling with a toddler. I'm sure we will be back!

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs. It’s a really great place. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable. All the necessities are in the house waiting, along with a nice welcome book. It wad a great place to stay with the dogs, the yard was nice and secure with the privacy fence out back. The hot tub was a nice treat as well, especially with snow all around. Would definitely stay again.

What a perfect home base for exploring Bend! The Airbnb is on a quiet street, just a few blocks away from two different spots to get on the quiet pedestrian river trail and about a 15 minute walk from downtown. The space was immaculately clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax after exploring Bend. Meg was also super quick to respond whenever we had questions. The beds are incredibly comfortable (I even messaged Meg asking where the duvet covers were from because we liked them so much).

We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, clean, and matched the description and pictures perfectly. We especially loved the neighborhood—so walkable and this house is a perfect central location to all of Bend. We loved being only 5 minutes or less from everything! Overall we loved our stay here and would come back. Our only negative was we were excited to use the pictured fire pit, but found that it was no longer usable (covered up by furniture). Other than that, we have nothing but positives to say about this house!

Great location! It's a quick walk to downtown and there's a nice park along the river a few blocks away. The house was clean and minimalistic, which we appreciated. It was nice having a fenced yard for our two dogs. Details like a stocked pantry, cookbooks, an umbrella, and laundry baskets were a great touch. Meg was friendly and very prompt with communicating. Highly recommend Kevista for coffee and the coolest chairs (swings!) and Sen is AMAZING. Definitely recommend staying here if walkability is important to you and/or you have pets. Would rent again!

We had a wonderful stay for a week! The home is simply decorated, comfortable, and has everything we needed. The location is awesome - walkable to bars/restaurants on Gavelston, Century Drive, and Downtown Bend. It's also a very short walk to the Bend Park & Ride that takes you up to Bachelor. Staying at this air BNB was an absolute dream. The house was exactly as described. It was clean, set up well, and the location can't be beat. Meg was easy to communicate with and very responsive. She provided a list of local recommendations. The best part is it was dog friendly. I was able to walk to most places with my pup and enjoyed several of the breweries downtown. We loved staying at Meg's house. The location is perfect. NW Galveston is our favorite street in Bend, and it takes just a few minutes to walk over. Really, everything is walkable. We walked to the tubing shuttle, to the amphitheater for a concert, and every meal. Our dog loved Columbia Park just down the street. The house itself is cozy and quiet. The hot tub is great, and we really enjoyed reading with a cup of coffee in the back yard every morning. There was plenty of hot water for the three of us to shower, and the beds were very comfortable. Instructions were clear and easy - not a ton to do for check-out, which is always terrific. Highly recommend this house!
